What snowboard related business activites are you involved in? Competeting in Chevy Grand Prix Events.
Where did you grow up? I grew up in Manasquan, New Jersey. Good times in the summer and you wouldn't believe we get good waves alot of the time. But Manasquan, NJ is like the Laguna Beach of the East.
Live now? Right now I like in Mammoth Lakes, California in the winter and I usually move back to my home in New Jersey for the summer.
Fave places to ride? Mammoth, Mt. Creek, Stratton, Okemo, Squaw, Las Lenas
Do you warm up each day before you ride? If so, what do you do to warm up? I mostly stretch in the morning and take a few warm up runs before I start throwing down tricks.
Yogo stretchs in the morning and a cold shower.
How keep in shape in season? How keep in shape for snowboarding out of season? Hitting up the gym whenever i have time in mammoth and I love to go San Diego and surf which keeps my upper body in shape.
I am usually traveling to either Mt. Hood in the Summer or riding in South America but I keep in shape by surfing whenever there's waves, as well as skating whenever i have free time.
Fave riding buddies? My Buddies from the East Coast who now live in Mammoth called the Crusaidurz. Riders such as Jake Blauvelt, Nate Farrel, Cody Rosenthal, Alex Soroken, Eric Siedler, Greg Bokenkamp, and anyone else whose riding around on a daily basis at Mammoth.
Who do you admire in snowboarding or outside and why? I admire alot of extreme athletes such as Kelly Slater, Danny Kass, and Tony Hawk. You have to look up to riders who put there sport on the map and no matter what the circumstance can kill it.
Do you ever get bummed out about your riding, and why? Only when the weather is bad or if you have an injury. Otherwise I always try to have a good time and the only time I get bummed is if I'm not riding to the top of my ability.
How do you fix it? But if i get bummed on my riding I usually just sleep on it. For me I usually have a great day one day and then the next day could be the worst day ever.
Do you use visualization, and if so, how? When I compete i definitly try to have my run planned in my head and I want to be ready for everything I'm about to do.
What safety equipt. do you wear, use for snowboarding? When i compete i wear a helmet.
If you're pro, when did you decide to go pro and what happened to get you there? Competeting with the best and knowing that if I perform to my best ability that I could be on top.
What have you read, listened to seen that you liked lately? I just drove across country so i saw alot and it was a hell of a drive.
Where have you traveled to lately that you like? This summer I went to Las Lenas, Argentina on a snowboarder Mag trip and it turned out very well. We got sick powder and the whole experience of going down there was great. We had a good crew and everything went great.
Any guilty pleasures? Not really. Don't front on NJ!
Anything that not many people know about you that you would like to share? If I could snowboard everyday and have at least one good surf session a week I would be in heaven.
Encouraging words for beginners? Don't think that you can just jump on a board and your gonna be snowboarding the first day. It takes time to learn and if you don't have paticance you'll never get it. The best advice for anyone trying to learn how to snowboard is to have fun with it. And if you don't want your ass to hurt pad your butt with a pillow or some padding. It will pay off if your trying to ride day after day.
Advice you want to share? Live everyday like it's gonna be your last.
